Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH
We have custom board using TMS320F28335. Usually we update the firmware through another board. Recently at times the program will not run and we cannot connect. We use Uniflash, and Spectrum Digital XDS200.
When I try to Test Connection using CCS 10.1.10 I get this:
This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.
The value is '-233' (0xffffff17).
The title is 'SC_ERR_PATH_BROKEN'.
I have varied the "JTAG nTRST Boot-Mode", "Power-On-Reset Boot-Mode", and "JTAG TCLK Frequency", but I still cannot reprogram it.
While it will be good to figure out why it failed to program, I would also like to resurrect the board so we do not have to replace the DSP.
Circuit wise, he TRST~ is pulled low with 2.15kOhm resistor, while the EMU0 and EMU1 are pulled high with 2.15k resistors. Are those too small? Do we need to change them to 10 kOhm?
What else can I try?
Thank you so much.
