CCS/DRV8312-C2-KIT: Cannot find board/device in Code Composer new target configuration

I am unable to locate the control card or board given as part of this kit, in the target configuration board/device option. I tried updating the software to see if that will bring up any new options, but I did not find the device. How might I be able to add the device to the target configuration?

What version of CCS are you using? What type of control card are you using?

I am using CCS version 10.0, and the control card I am using is the Piccolo TMDSCNCD28035MISO controlCARD

Download controlSUITE from https://www.ti.com/tool/controlsuite if you didn't install it on your PC before.
