In our project we will use tms320f280041. We have one question according the documentation about Programmable Gain Amplifiers
We attend to use programmable gain amplifiers for measuring the phase currents on shunt resistors.
We noticed that there is the difference between https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tms320f280041.pdf?ts=1593585579785&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FTMS320F280041 and technical refference https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sprui33c/sprui33c.pdf?ts=1593585712947&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FTMS320F280041
We want to use gain 24, but there are written different Rgnd and Rout in those two documents.
Can you inform us which values of the resistors for gain 24 are correct?
Can you inform us also the tollerance of this resistors?
Thank you.
Hi Primoz,
The Rgnd/Rout values in the TRM are the ideal values to simplify calculations. The Rgnd/Rout values in the datasheet are the actual typical values you can expect from the device. The ratio is what's more important but the tolerance for these resistors is in the gain error specification.
