Is there an EtherCAT Master Stack available from TI or third parties for the TMS320F28388D platform? If not, could you recommend alternative solutions from TI?

Hello

Just to clarify F28388D only supports being EtherCAT slave but should be able to work with any standard EtherCAT master on a network.

In terms of EtherCAT master, if you're looking for the stack you'll have to contact the 3rd party for the master you're using.

We've tested with Beckhoff TwinCAT as well as Acontis EC-Engineer. You can check out those.

Also, if you're looking for an embedded platform to run EtherCAT master, you can check out the TI Sitara Processors.
