TMS320F28388D: ADC and DAC Interfaces

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Hi,

1. TMS320F28388D consist of 4 ADC modules, Is each module can be configured 12bit/16bit and single ended/Differential mode ?

2. ADC and DAC output pin connected to  both ADC and DAC module and shared by the same pin, does DAC out pin can configured as DAC out and Is other pins can be configured ADC pins. Kindly provide your information at the earliest .Thanks.

    Hi Arun,

    The ADC modules, as per datasheet, can be operated as 16-bit differential, 16-bit single-ended or 12-bit single-ended.  These are the only modes supported.

    DACA output uses the same pin as ADCINA0 (or channel 0 of module ADCA).  DACB output uses the same pin as ADCINA1 (or channel 1 of module ADCA).  When both DACA and DACB are used, the other channels in ADCA can still be used as ADC input pins.  This is also true for DACC whose output also shares with ADCINB1 (or channel 1 of ADCB).  If DACC is used, all the other channels for ADCB can still be used as ADC inputs.
