TMS320F28388D: Need a software demo for using IPC between CPU1 and CPU2 on F28388D

Hi expert,

My customer need a software demo for using IPC between CPU1 and CPU2 on F28388D device with interrupt. I didn't find this example for either F2838xD or F2837xD device. Could you provide us with this?

https://training.ti.com/c2000-f2837xd-microcontroller-workshop has a lab with IPC.

Hopefully, that helps.

I did a quick look of C2000Ware. We have an IPC example for F2837xD but not F28388D.

I have assigned this issue to an expert for more comments.

As Sira mentioned, IPC example code for communication between CPU1 and CPU2 is available in below C2000Ware path. This is easy example to understand which uses GPIOs to demonstrates the working of IPC between two CPUs. There also other IPC examples in bitfield based example folder.

Driverlib based example: <C2000Ware>\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\dual\ipc

Bit-field based example: <C2000Ware>\device_support\f2837xd\examples\dual\ipc_gpio_toggle
