TMS320F28379D: Replacement for the Processors Wiki

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hello,

I just noticed that the Processors Wiki is going to be taken down in December.  Is there a replacement stated for it?

Thank you,

Ed

  • Hi Ed,

Various groups are moving their content to other locations.  For example we recently moved all of the CLA FAQs to a Software Development Guide.  The wiki pages are being set to redirect to the new content.  This has already occurred for quite a bit of the content.

Is there a particular subject area you are wondering about?

    Best Regards

    Lori

  • Hi Lori,

No particular subject right now.  I noticed this when I was on a topic to which I had been referred.  The verbiage, which I copied below, suggested that we download the content we may need.  Not being able to anticipate what I could need in the future, it left me concerned that the knowledge which the wiki contains would be lost.  So I asked this question hoping to find that the knowledge would simply be moved.  From what you said, it seems that this is the case, and nothing will be lost.  Is that correct?

NOTICE: The Processors Wiki will End-of-Life in December of 2020. It is recommended to download any files or other content you may need that are hosted on processors.wiki.ti.com. The site is now set to read only.

    Thank you,

    Ed

  • Ed,

I can't speak for all of TI's groups that used the wiki.  For C2000 we are moving content we feel has a lot of value.  Some of it was stale and in the move it was refreshed.  There are a few items, rarely used, or of low quality, that we will make a copy of "just in case" we later regret not moving it.

    Best regards

    Lori
