CCS/TMS320F28379D: No headers added to a new project

Part Number: TMS320F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F28379D, C2000WARE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

I'm trying to create a new project using the LAUNCHXL-F28379D, yet I'm unable to even compile it. It seems that there're no header files and as opposed to some other project of mine where I use a MSP430 processor, when I open the "Includes" category, there're no include files whatsoever. I installed the C2000ware folder and I was thinking it's going to solve the problem. The problem persists.

Thank you in advance!

  • Hi Andrei,

How are you creating a project?

The best way will be to import empty project from C2000ware DriverLib example.

You can rename the project (and main c file) after importing and then you can add your files as needed. That way, all the path and header files are created for you.

    C:/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_3_02_00_00/driverlib/f2837xs/examples/cpu1/empty_projects

  • I've succeeded by importing rather C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_02_00_00\driverlib\f2837xs\examples\cpu1\empty_projects\CCS, but finally it worked and I was able to do the blinky example. Thank you a lot for your answer.

I'm still perplexed why it has to be done in such a non-obvious and indirect way. Well, it works though.
