TMS320F280049: How to configure GPIO22/23 when using internal 1.2V DCDC

Hi expert

According to TRM of 28004x, GPIO22/23 are analog mode at reset.(in section 8.1 Note)

However, in the description of GPAASEL, GPIO22/23 are digital mode at reset.

is there any conflict of this?

We are using the internal 1.2V Switching Regulator DCDC of MCU now,

we want to know if it is necessary to configure GPIO22/23 as anolog mode when using it?

And if yes, should we have to configure GPIO22/23 as anolog mode in GPAASEL?

Or it is the default analog mode, and there is no need to configure?

BTW, we notice that in the next generation product, this VREG is removed, what is the concern?

Please configure the GPIO22/23 to enable the analog mode. then call the function ASysCtl_enableDCDC().

Thanks for your reply.

But in the TRM3.2.1, the procedure to enable internal DC-DC ergulator,

it has 6 steps without configuring GPIO22/23 as the analog mode.

Hi Linna,

The 6 steps outlined in the TRM are correct. Turning on the DCDC with (DCDCEN) automatically enables analog mode for GPIO22/23. We will add a note in the TRM and datasheet to make it clear.
