Hi,

I am using Delfino board TMDSCNCD28379D. This kit also has a motor with it. I want measure the motor current using F28379 controller.

Is there any provision for measure the current? I can see in the schematic IS-TOTAL , IS-IhbA, IS-IhbB, IS-IhbC . Are this points measuring the motor currents?

Also is there any example code for F28379 using current based close loop PID.

TMDSCNCD379D is a control card and not a motor kit. What motor kit do you have? There are many motor control example projects for various motor boards, you can find them in controlsuite or MCSDK.

Suggest to review the datasheet of DRV8312 to understand and appreciate its application circuit. The signals you mentioned are indeed phase current sensing points across the shunt resistor, but the signal mag will be small. If you are interested in seeing the signal, they are available at IC-FB, IB-FB,, IA-FB, I-TOTAL, after they are amplified by an opamp.
