TMS320F280049C: How to change the invalid data format from "0000" to "FFFF"

Hi Expert,

The below figure shows the content of .bin file, and "0000" is the invalid data format.

Customer want to know if there any method/configuration to change the invalid data "0000" to "FFFF", so in Flash, the content is "FFFF" not "0000" after download the bin file.

I presume you create this bin file by using the Windows batch file tiobj2bin.bat, which is supplied with Code Composer Studio. In that case, please see this forum thread for a solution.

In the linker cmd file, you can use the fill directive to fill 1s for the memory definition in linker cmd file.
