Hi,

Could you please tell me what ordering number of programmer and debugger for TMS320F28335 which can support CCS v3.3 and CCS v6.0? I can't find the information on TI website.

For compatibility with both CCS v3.3 and CCS v6.0 I believe there are only two choices:

1)XDS100v2, while this is not sold from TI.com directly there are several 3P that still sell this. I would recommend this as it will work with latest CCS v10 if customer upgrades their IDE eventually. One example is Spectrum Digital http://www.spectrumdigital.com/xds100v2-usb-jtag-emulator/

2)XDS510LC, this is an older C2000 only emulator, but is compatible with both CCS 3.3 and CCS 6.x http://www.spectrumdigital.com/c2000-series-xds510lc-jtag-emulator/ This is NOT supported on CCS v7 or newer.

Just a note on newer emulators probes, both the XDS200 and XDS110 would work for CCSv6.x, but not CCSv3.x

Thank you for your professional answer. I wonder if there is a tool that supports CCS v3.3 and comes from TI not from the third part?

We no longer sell the older tools I mentioned on TI.com.

However, the XDS100v2 from Spectrum Digital I mentioned was the model that was sold on TI.com, we did not make that model in house. So if you order from Spectrum Digital you will be getting the same debug probe that was on TI.com.
