TMS320F28069: ADC Round Robin and High Priority

Hello Champs,

In F28069 ADC, for example, SOC0,SOC1,SOC2,SOC3 are all set to be triggered by ePWM1 and all set to high priority, SOC4 to SOC8 are all set to be triggered by ePWM2.

if ePWM2 triggers SOC4, after SOC4 conversion finishes, at this time SOC1 is triggered by ePWM1, so the question is whether that SOC1 will be converted at first and then SOC5,SOC6,SOC7,SOC8 or that SOC1 will be converted after SOC5,SOC6,SOC7,SOC8 all conversion complete?

Linda,

This is described in the High Priority Example of the ADC Conversion Priority section in the TRM.

If I follow your example as described, SOC0-SOC3 are triggered after SOC4 finishes. So in this case, the sequence would be:

EPWM2 SOC Trigger
SOC4
SOC5 (Partial)
EPWM1 SOC Trigger
SOC5 (Complete)
SOC0 - SOC3
SOC6 - SOC8
