DRV8312-C2-KIT: F28305 Control Card

Hi, I have recently purchased DRV8312-c2-kit which comes with F28305 control card. I have two questions here

1a. I tried running it using GUI [InstaSPIN-BLDC_GUI_DRV83xx_v104] provided with USB stick and it shows connection established but doesn't work. It doesn't show any green light down or clicking Enable motor doesn't do anything

1b. I have tried downloading through TI website ControlSuite. It still doesn't work.

2. The Second question I have is, in CCS [I have latest version] when I am setting up the New Target Configuration, it doesn't show Texas Instruments XDS100v1 USB Emulator. it only shows Texas Instruments XDS100v1 Debug Probe

1. Please take a look at the Quick Start Guide and InstaSPIN BLDC lab application at the folders below in controlSUITE, and then follow the operation steps to re-program the target file into the device and run the GUI.

Hi,

I cannot find the Texas Instruments XDS100v1 USB Emulator and

Board didn't come with any emulator, it came with just a USB probe that can be connected to F28035 control card

I am using CCS10 and windows 10

should I use CCS v4 as mentioned in the document ???

The TMDSCNCD28035ISO has an onboard XDS100 emulator and CCS10 is ok for this card.

If you haven't had a chance to look at the workshop material, I think this will help demystify some of the terminology and architecture as well.

Only one thing is I selected Texas Instruments XDS100v1 Debug Probe instead of Texas Instruments XDS100v1 USB Emulator. I didn't find it in the given options in CCS. In one of the support forums they wrote that both are same [its because I am using higher version of CCS than this kit described in the material.]
