Compiler/TMS320F28388D: What is the slight difference in number for float operation with strict and relaxed mode?

Hi,

I went through the forum posts and compiler documentation and could not find the numerical value for the slight difference in the FPU operations for a strict and relaxed mode of execution. Could you please point to the right documentation where I can find this.

I presume you mean the difference in results which may occur due to use of the command line option --fp_mode=strict as compared to --fp_mode=relaxed.

We have not characterized that difference in terms of a numerical value. For further details, please search the article Floating Point Optimization for --fp_mode.
