TMS320F28069: Instaspin: Problem wirh sensored control

Part Number: TMS320F28069

Hello,

I have problems to run sensored based control in a custom hardware (c2000 micro and dev8353 driver). The motor has been identified correctly. Once i run the speed control, the motor follow the speed correctly during some seconds, but then the control become inestable. The current increases and I have to stop It. This appears sometimes, not always. The wavefors are almost sinusoidal. We have not retunned the control It just the default. Depending on the speed reference the time on which the motor becomes unestable chance.

Colud you please give me any advice?

Thank you un avance

Borja

  • Hi,

Can you please address the exact InstaSpin lab number that you are having an issue with?

Also please list out your test environments such as dc bus voltage, speed reference, and etc.

    Best,

    John

  • Hi,

Sorry for my late reply. Finally there was no problem with the control. We have two different problems with the motor. The motor used was not the one identified and the motor Itself has an electrical Problem

I have a doubt with the identified parameters what happens if the flux is not correctly identified. I have blocked the motor just to see the máximum torque developed by our inverter. The current increases until the limit, but the Torque is less than expected.

    Thank you in advance
