CCS/TMS320F28388D: Debug and Release exe

They are just different configurations(with unique build settings for every config) and Debug and Release are default ones.

If you open any of our C2000ware examples you can see _RAM and _FLASH. So based on the config you can choose the needed build settings and even a different linker like in our case if we use target as RAM or FLASH.

As Karthik said, 'Release' and 'Debug' are two build configurations. The details of these configurations can be changed in CCS. By default, 'Debug' build configuration includes debug symbol information and the optimization is OFF. Where as in 'Release' build configuration, debug symbol information is not included and optimization is ON (I think it is O3).
