Hello,

I'm trying to use PMbus library from C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_DigitalPower_SDK_3_00_01_00\c2000ware\libraries\communications\PMBus

During testing, if i do an illegal operation, the code will stop as shown in the assembly below:

Question here: how do i let the code to continue running, ignoring any error or illegal operation.

Hello

Determine which ASSERT in the communication stack source code is being triggered and comment out the PMBUS_STACK_ASSERT() line.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have done what you suggested, commenting off the PMBUS_STACK_ASSERT() as shown in picture above.

But then ESTOP0 still happened.

Aside from the above, the root cause of this seems to be the pmbusslavestack is waiting for a NACK, but there is no timeout mechanism for this if NACK never happens. Then it triggers PMBus_Stack_assertionFailed()

You'll have to rebuild the library using the project under the CCS directory within the PMBus directory for the change to occur.

The stack has these assertion points for the end user application implement course of action based on the cause of the assertion. You can use the parameters in the PMBus_Stack_assertionFailed() or the CCS call stack to determine which location of the stack is calling the assertion.
