TMS320F280049: General questions regarding ERAD module

Hi expert,

I have some general questions regarding ERAD and I can not get answer from document.

1. How does ERAD being clocked? I asssum clock is needed to write values in register or make state machine work, but I can not find the configuration like other peripherals in example project.

2. In ERAD register description, I find many bits has "Reset type: ERAD_RESET", could you help me with more information on this reset source?

Form "11.4 ERAD Ownership, Initialization and Reset" I guess ERAD needs no special enable process and clock settings. It is purely initialized by two kinds of reset and one kind of debugger event. Is my understanding correct?

    Sheldon,

    For #1, F28004x ERAD clocks are enabled by default, so you do not need to do anything special.

    (There has been a slight change for F28002x and F2838x which you can refer to the respective TRM's)

    For #2, Your understanding is correct, This block can be reset based on ownership by DCON or SYSRSN.
