Hi everyone,

We would like to drive 3 motors with our motor driver power stages. Is it possible to get enough PWM channels from TMS320F28384D microcontroller ? We used the TMS320F28379D microcontroller for dual motor driving but for 3 motors it is not suitable. 

If it is possible, please let me know.

    F2837x includes up to 12 ePWM modules with 24 channels.  Typically each inverter will take 3 ePWM modules (6 channels), so there should already be enough for 3 motors.

    F2838x includes up to 16 ePWM modules with 32 channels.

    Both also have options to enable the CLB which can be used to generate additional PWM outputs. Examples are included in C2000Ware
