Ok, this sysconfig thing is really cool. Kudos to the team for supporting this and also to the CCS guys for the implementation.

In playing with it, one shortcoming I'm seeing is it lacks an option for not assigning a peripheral function to a pin. For instance, I've got some serial peripherals pinned out and one of them is using GPIO1. I'd also like to use EPWM1 but only bring out the A to GPIO0 and not use the B channel at all. There should be an option in the pinmux drop down that allows this and it isn't there. Instead it tells me I have pin conflicts because it won't let me not use the B channel.

I'm 99% sure you're already aware of this short coming, but on the 1% chance you're not I thought I should bring it up.

One more thing, the sysconfig projects are missing a flash build config ;)

I made sure to implement this feature. In the USE CASE options, instead of ALL select the CUSTOM functionality and then only the peripheral pins you want to use.

One more quick thing in regard to sysconfig. The default field value for SPI bit rate is 25k. With the default clocking of topolino, this yields a LSPCLK of 25M which in turn isn't possible with the SPI divider and causes the assert to fail in SPI_setConfig. You may want to bump this up to something more reasonable like 500k.

It took me a second to figure this out because the examples are linked to use the prebuilt library. When you try to step into the setConfig function it's looking for the file on your build machine. Also of note is using the locate file button to point it to the driverlib source files copied into the project doesn't work.
