Hi Team,
My customer use C2prog SCI mode to ease and program F28388S, there is no problem for CPU1, but for CM flash, for the first time to program an empty chips, it is also no problem, but for the second time and later, there will have the error as showed below which say fail to erase. if they use CCS with JTAG to program the device again, it is also ok and program successfully.
Anything wrong for the C2prog to program F28388 CM core's flash?
Strong,
Did you check if the Flash is secured? If yes, in CCS case, did customer unlock first?
Does it work if the flash is in erased state already?
I asked CodeSkin to take a look at this. Please expect a reply in couple of days.
Thanks and regards,
Vamsi
Hi Vamsi,
Did you check if the Flash is secured? In yes, in CCS case, did customer unlock first?
--> there is not secured, when there have code at CM flash, which means that not all 0xFF, then it can not be erased by C2prog, but can be erased by CCS, if the device is empty or have been erased by CCS, then it is ok to program the code by C2prog.
Strong,
Thank you for the update. That helps to analyze.
I will notify Codeskin on this.
Thanks and regards,
Vamsi
Hello Strong -
The issue that you are experiencing is a bug, which should be fixed now.
Please download the latest C2Prog release (v1.8.7-4) and let me know if you are still seeing problems with the CM flash erase.
Thanks,
Beat
Hi Strong,
I only made a bug-fix release (1.8.7-4), and would like for your customer to confirm that the problem has been solved, before I formally push out version 1.8.8.
Therefore, please point your customer directly to our website to download v1.7.8-4:
Strong,
As discussed offline, please try this updated version and let us know how it goes.
Thanks and regards,
Vamsi
