Hello,
I would like to used a current ADC with a Manchester-encoded output connected to my F28388D controlCARD. The thing is in the F28379D it says that the SDFM in control mode 2.
- 2 The modulator clock is off and the modulator data is Manchester-encoded
The thing is that in the F28388D on one hand it says that Control Mode 2 is reserved, and that not allow Manchester-encoded. But on the other hand, the "F2837x Driverlib to F2838x Driverlib - Migration Guide" says that
- Either type 0 (F2837X) or type 1(F28004x) SDFM can be configured on this device. This has been done to retain compatibility from prior devices and should be decided once for an application.
- Enhancements to Manchester Mode Decoding- In this device, enhancements have been done to enhance the valid frequency range of Manchester data stream. Support for this feature has been added in driver by adding new API to select clock source.
So my question is, if the 28388D SDFM supports or not Manchester-encoded Sigma-Delta input?
I appreciate the help.
