Hi ti expert,
i am using tms320f28379s to develop ethercat slave for motor controller.
Now i have 3 slaves running with DC synchronize by ethercat uing ET1100. it is successful with communication with ethercat master and all 3 slaves can run motors normally.
Then i want to know the sync0 jetter for all 3 slaves, so i measure the sync0 HW IO signal at the same time for 3 slaves, and find that there is about 8us dealy between 1st slave and 2nd slave, and also have 8us delay between 1st slave and 3rd slave.
as my understanding, if DC synchronize works well, sync0 jetter between all slaves should be very small,like 10~100ns difference, right?
but in my case, the sync0 jetter is 8us, so, would you mind give me some suggestion where the problem is? thanks very much.
