Hi,

We're working on a legacy project and want to improve it. We chose the 28035 because then it was the only MCU with CLA capabilities.

Is there a newer MCU that's compatible (pin to pin if possible) with the 28035 and the same CLA code will run on it?

We would like an MCU with DMA capabilities.

    Mechi,

    I would look at the TMS320F280049 class of devices, there are some options with package overlap to the F28035; and while not 100% pin compatible there should be similar locations for the analog and digital pins as the F28035.  This device has both the CLA and DMA as you mention.  I believe that the CLA on this device has some additional features(background task), but the code should be 100% compatible with what you already have.

    This device has a LaunchPad eval kit as well if you'd like to evaluate quickly.
