Hi,

I am working on BLDC motor control for electric vehicles.I have learnt from the link (https://e2e.ti.com/blogs_/b/industrial_strength/archive/2012/04/13/so-which-pwm-technique-is-best-part-6

processor.Also,from the control suite examples for BLDC motor control using F2803x,I could understand that certain macros like BLDCPWM-DRV and COMTN-TRIG macros are available for F2803x DSP digital motor control library which makes my control easier.Please,let me know if such macros are available for F28234 or else any other alternative for the above.

Yes, the macro in the motor control library can support all C2000 devices include F28234.

Hi Yanming

Thankyou for your response.Can you clear how unipolar and bipolar pwms as shown in the pictures are generated using the ePwm module.Does macros exist for the generation of such Pwm techniques.

Hi Yanming,

Does every macro defined in motor control library support F28234? BLDCPWM driver macro is defined only in f2803x devices as far as I understood.So I dont think I can use it in F28234.Can you clarify.

All of the motor control macros can be used on C2000 MCUs includes F28234. The BLDCPWM driver macro can be used on F28234 also, but you need to change the PWM configuration according to the device and your own hardware board.
