Hi Longfei Zhang,
TXD1 and RXD1 are optional signals that are not required. Using the additional D1 data signals will increase the throughput of the FSI communications.

Differential ICs are not required for FSI to work. You can directly connect the FSI signals of the C2000 devices. Differential ICs will drastically increase the communication distance possible and increase noise immunity.

It will largely depend on your operating environment and FSI clock speed being used. At the Max 50 MHz FSI clock, typically 5-6 inches (12-15 cm) of trace length is possible. We recommend using differential ICs in noisy system environments or for longer communication distances.
