CCS/TMS320F28335: what is main transition(or difference) between controlSUITE and c2000ware??

I am a newbie in here and my boss made me do a research about this issue... but I am stuck on wide information about this.

Why did they make a transition to C2000ware from controlSUITE?? if you would tell?? 

we were originally using controlSUITE but trying to move to code2000. What should we know in regard to this??

    Hi Ju Huisu,

    It was becoming bulky to add support for all devices in ControlSuite. Also, ControlSuite installer had all the previous releases included in it. Hence the size of ControlSuite grew to ~2GB which was too much for a customer to download.

    Hence C2000Ware was introduced and the newer C2000 devices (F2838x, F28002x, F28004x and so on) were added in C2000Ware. Also C2000Ware does not include any SDKs , these are now separate installers.

    There is a document which can be referred for transition from ControlSuite to C2000Ware.
