TMS320F28035: HVACI_Scalar Sensorless

Hi,

I am working in a project for a water pump control, which uses ACIM motor, based on the F280xx family. I have on hands both the F28069M and F28035 cards.

At first, my goal was to use Sensorless FOC, but the requirement of locking rotor during the calibration process was a huge drawback (imagine doing this to a 25HP motor). So I decided to go on step back and use the simpler V/F control, which doesn't require calibration.

Looking into the HVACI_Scalar example, I noticed that it uses a feedback encoder, and my need is for a sensorless control. So the questions are: Is there any example of Scalar sensorless control for any of my devices? Or, what would be even better, is ther any way to perform FOC calibration whithout locking the rotor?
