This is Mike

The C2000 Family has been in the market for many years. I want to make a new design but I was asking myself where I can see the cycle life of product (the time the product has left to be on market) for this DSP in particular TMS320F28335.

Does anybody know about it ?

What about the Cycle life of product of TMS320F28069M?

Mike,

F2833x is still active and shipping in volume. Most customers are starting new designs with Generation 3 products in the latest fabrication process, but F2833x and all of Generation 2) is still safe to use.

Thanks, seems to be that as the C2000 is well established it could be on the market many years. What about working with the third generation? I mean, Is there any major changes in the silicon (erratas and so on)?

Any major changes vs. Generation 2? Yes, they are entirely different designs / devices.

But F2837x and F28004x series have been in full production for years.

F2838x started production this year and F28002x will start production next month.

Errata is posted for each in the product folder along with Datasheet.
