CCS/TIDM-BLPFC: Debugging Problem.

Part Number: TIDM-BLPFC

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have ordered the device from Texas Instrument i.e. TIDM-BLPFC i.e. using C2000 MCU with exactly F28035 Piccolo-A. Now as this controller is a reprogramable so I want to connect it with the simulink and CCS for debugging but it is having the problem:

When i want to debug this C2000 controller with CCS, when I use the laptop from my friend with windows 7 for debugging then the code is transferred successfully to the target. But when I use my laptop with windows 10 then I find a problem in the debugging. The target gets connects to my laptop but I can't transfer my program to it. It shows the following message i.e.

Break at address "0x3ff599" with no debug information available, or outside of program code.

So I want to know exactly where the problem is? Is it problem to program the C2000 with windows 10?

  • Please reinstall CCS with Win 10 and try again.

  • Hello Shamim,

First of all Thanks for your response.

I did solved the problem to conenct the C2000 control card with the CCS. But now I want to connect it with MATLAB Simulink directly because my programing or my file is exactly in Matlab so it is giving me the following error whenever I want to connect my board with the MATLAB:

    >> Compilation failure
    gmake: * [../khqlid.out] Error 1

C:\Users\kjaved\AppData\Local\Temp\khqlid_ert_rtw>echo The make command returned an error of 2
The make command returned an error of 2

    C:\Users\kjaved\AppData\Local\Temp\khqlid_ert_rtw>An_error_occurred_during_the_call_to_make
'An_error_occurred_during_the_call_to_make' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.

    ### Build procedure for model: 'khqlid' aborted due to an error.
    Error(s) encountered while building "khqlid":
    ### Failed to generate all binary outputs.

If you can provide any idea regarding this.

    Thanks in advance

  • We did not use this design to connect with MATLAB-Simulink. So, this is outside the scope of this design. Please consult with MATLAB directly.
