CCS/TMS320F28379D: TIDM 1000: what is the nature of ILmeas current (sine, triangular?)

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello there,

I am looking into TIDM 1000, In the main code, there are IL1meas, IL2meas, IL3meas, what are the nature of that signals? Are they triangular or sinusoidal or what in nature? Also, are they in 120-degree phase difference?

Also In the schematic of this, what is SD_data and RSH? what is the main use of that?

  • Hi Avi,

1.I am looking into TIDM 1000, In the main code, there are IL1meas, IL2meas, IL3meas, what are the nature of that signals? Are they triangular or sinusoidal or what in nature? Also, are they in 120-degree phase difference?

[Chen] They are sensed current values after averaging. So theoretically, they are discrete and sinusoidal values if you look at them from AC input perspective. Yes, they are 120 degree phase shifted with each other phase.

2.Also In the schematic of this, what is SD_data and RSH? what is the main use of that?

[Chen] SD_data is the sensed current value through sigmal delta filter module which is the not the default option for customer to use. But they could also try to use it instead of ADC. RSH is the input to the AMC modulator.

    Regards,
