Configuring FPGA thru C2000

I want to Configure an Altera Cyclone FPGA using my F2808. My preference is to do this using C2000 to JTAG into FPGA once board is powered up. I am open to using a parallel port also. Has anybody tried this? Any recommendations. Thanks.

I have always seen this done through an external memory interface (so F2812 or F28335).

Hi Chris, thank you for the answer. Do you have an app note on using the external memory interface to do this? Is there any collateral from TI using JTAG to configure FPGA's using TI MCU's or DSP's ?

Any other material on this would be helpful.
