TMS320F28388D: What Absolute Encoder protocol Libs are available?

Hi,

We are designing the schematic using TMS320F28388D, including the absolute encoder features. We'd love to know what libraries are currently available from TI, and whether there are dedicated GPIOs (such as 6,7) and peripherals (EPWM4...) need to be reserved.

We need BiSS, EnDat, T-Format and HIPERFACE DSL.

For the F28388x device we have the T-Format encoder interface in the C2000 Motor Control SDK (https://www.ti.com/tool/C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK).

For BiSS-C and EnDat2.2 these are available as black-box libraries for the F2837x devices in ControlSuite. We have not ported them to the SDK or the F2838x.

T-Format CLB based example in the SDK as mentioned. For the others, request through your TI sales person and we can discuss access to early versions before they are released in the future.
