C2000 Ezdsp

I purchased the ezDSP f28335 DSC kit back in 2008 and have been using it since. Are there any other c2000 DSCs that have succeeded the f28335 kit since? Does TI plan to release any new c2000 DSCs in near future?

Secondly, the teaching roms webpage says that the 'c2000 teaching rom' is under beta testing, when will it be available for downloading?

when I use the cc2000, an old version of ccs, to run a program in tms320f2407A, if I click the "Debug---Real time mode", the cc2000 could not enter real time mode, and the cc2000 show the error: invalid monitor version number!!!! I do not know how to handle it! Please help me and tell me what I should do!!! THANK YOU!!!

Please don't complaint. you know ADI DSP is much more difficult to use than TI's. i guess it's becoz u have set up ur SDConfig properly.

The F2407A is an obsolete chip at this point, that may be why you're getting errors on the CCS. Also, I do not know if the 2407A supports real time mode. I have one as well and get the same problems. I just migrated to the 2835 instead.

TMS320F2407A is an old one and almost outdated one. If you want to start the project you may try with 28xx series. Try installing CCS 3.1 v and try to run the program.
