Compiler/TMDXIDDK379D: IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x-v2 Compiling Problem

Dear friends,

Recently i have got development kit called TMDXIDDK379D, before I have serious experience on C2000 series microcontroller especially for TMS320F2837x.

For a while trying to run "IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x-v2" program @F:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\TMDSIDDK_v2.0\IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x_v2_00_00_00 on TMDXIDDK379D, but whatever i did cannot able to compile without error the program and just need to get your kind help.

What i did is:

1) I import the "IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x-v2" program @F:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\TMDSIDDK_v2.0\IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x_v2_00_00_00 correctly by using CCS Version: 9.3.0.00012.

2) I correct the Properties for "IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x-v2" as seen below pics:

3) After trying to compile i get following errors:

I wish if you can share your kind experience how to solve the errors.

The necessary files that should be included are not seen. This particular project is not using C2000Ware, but your include list has that as per your edits. Can you just work with the default settings at import without editing the contents.

Hi Ramesh,

Thank you for your kind response.

After your warning what i did is:

1) Import the "IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x_v2_00_00_00" program at F:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\TMDSIDDK_v2.0 by CCS-->File-->Open Projects from File System.

2) Obligatory change compiler version to TI v18.12.4.LTS, remaining is unchanged.

Now the errors reduce but still got as below:

Do you have further suggestion for me?

It looks like the device peripheral definitions are missing. Can you check if the CMD file 'F2837xD_Headers_nonBIOS_cpu1.cmd' is either missing or not included in your build configuration?

Thanks for your concern.

My properties are:

After i copy the 'F2837xD_Headers_nonBIOS_cpu1.cmd' file directly from project folder, the warnings are reduced but still get same errors as below:

I am blind to see the problem.

Can you guide me further?

Hi,

Another point i realise that when i open the project originally coming with V6 compiler that build without error but warn me to increase compiler version from V6 to v18.

And when i change compiler version to TI v18.12.4.LTS above errors are coming with it.

Hi,

After searching about the problem i realise that the errors seen below is coming from Code Analyser as well build is succeeded.

While searcing how to get rid of the errors too since no effect building coming from Code Analyser i found to uncheck the two boxes to remover errors at CCS-->Project Properties-->C/C++ General-->Code Analysis-->Launching as seen below to disable Code Analyser.

Hopes related project to be worked properly.
