TMS320F28388D: Questions of CLB clock

Hi champs,

According to TRM, the CLB clocks of F2838xD/S is from SYSCLK, not from PWM modules, is this correct?

The maximum frequency of F2838x's CLB is 150MHz, does this mean we have to set SYSCLK to 150MHz if we need 150MHz CLB clock frequency?

    Luke, 

    We are updating the TRM and the SW to showcase how to use the CLB in 150MHz mode (with Pipeline enabled TYPE3 feature).

    But currently Type3 support is not released yet, so please wait until 1Q21 to have all Type3 feature + examples for clocking on the CLB at 150MHz to be released.

    If this is a time critical item before 1Q21, please email me.

    A little preview:

    The clock for the CLB on this device can come from the AUX PLL and has some deviders alllowing you to operate at higher speeds but a NEW mode called PIPELINE mode must be enabled when run at higher than 100MHz.
