TMS320F28388D: Standard method of using M3 ARM core?

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Hello team,

I’ve got a question from the customer, and would like to ask your advice.

Is there any material, tech-notes or technical document related to “Standard method of using M3 arm core”?

The information they want to know is: how to boost/ if they need ISO or not/ how to debug using TI’s RTOS.

Would someone happen to know any material explaining those?

Best regard,
Kurumi Hasegawa

  • Hasegawa-san,

Is there any material, tech-notes or technical document related to “Standard method of using M3 arm core”?

On this device we have Cortex-M4 (not M3). We suggest user to refer technical reference manual from ARM for more detail about development on this core. Hear is the link for the same.

The information they want to know is: how to boost/ if they need ISO or not/ how to debug using TI’s RTOS.

Do you mean "how to boot" ? If yes, you can find this info information in device TRM (BOOT section). Please refer this post for query on RTOS.
