TMS320F28388D: One question to DMA function.

Hi champs,

In F2837xD/S devices, we have to set SECMSEL Register and determine common peripherals connect to either CLA or DMA. As I know there have no this limitation of F2838xD/S and F28004x devices, is this correct?

Another question is that if customer doesn't use extra features of F2838xD/S, then F2838x is P2P to F2837x devices, both BGA-337 and LQFP-176 packages, is this correct?

    Correct

    Yes, F2838x is is pin to pin compatible with F2837x device on both the packages.
