Hi,

I am trying to establish CAN Communication on CAN-A Controller.

Referred the examples : external_transmit & loopback_interrupt.

I'm facing difficulty while receiving messages on CAN-A. The node is transmitting the messages, but not able to implement the ISR for receiving msgs from an external device.

Requesting a sample code for external transmit & external receive, both on CAN-A.

Hi Sayali,

In C2000Ware you can refer to C2000Ware_3_03_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\can\can_ex5_simple_receive.c and C2000Ware_3_03_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\can\can_ex4_simple_transmit.c where both configure CANA either to transmit or receive.

Hi,

Can you be more specific on what difficulty are you facing while receiving messages on CANA?

The can_external_transmit example configures the CANA to transmit and CANB to receive in a loop back mode through a can transceiver. For Changing the receive interrupt to CANA make sure you have correctly configured the PieVectTable, PieCtrlRegs and set the CANA base to receive through API CANMessageSet() .
