TMDSCNCD28335: 100 pin connector

Hi,

I am trying to find a replacement 100 pin connector for the TI board I tried searching for the Molex connector (0876301001)  and the TE Connectivity(TMDSCNCD28335)  but both seem to be obsolete without any information about a replacement connector.  Is there any alternate connector that can be used ?

    Hi Aditya,

    Unfortunately, you are correct that these connectors are now obsolete in the industy.

    We're reached out & unfortunately are not aware of any alternate manufacturers.  And if there were any, they would require a high Minimum Order Quantity.

    If this is for F28335 device evaluation or a prototype system, we'd recommend to design the F28335 & its supporting circuitry directly onto your board.  Or manufacture your own controller card with a connector you desire.


    Note that for C2000's newer device family's controlCARD we have switched to a newer & more manufacture-able connector in the HSEC8 format from Samtec.  You can refer to the TMDSHSECDOCK for an example baseboard.  This works with the newer F28379D, F280049C, F28388D, and F280025C controlCARDs.
