Hi team,

Customer is considering to use TDO as GPIO in the following way.

Will this influence jtag connection?

    Brian,

    This will be fine to use TDO as a GPIO.  A scan sequence on the TMS pin is required to bring the JTAG out of reset, until that happens TDO will not be needed.  In addition, on this device we support 2 pin advance cJTAG, that only uses TMS and TCK pins; if customer uses this mode, then TDO nor TDI will not be needed even for JTAG connection.
