Part Number: TMS320F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8323
Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hi,
I am using a TMS320f28379D microcontroller with DRV8323 for hall sensor based bldc control. I took the PWM config and the commutation sequence from other ref designs. The motor is running fine but the acoustic noise is higher than normal. When checked the current waveform and values, it looks normal.
With the same motor and DRV8323, when connected with the MSP430 development board, i am getting lesser noise. But the current and temperature of the motor of both cases are the same. I verified the commutation sequences in MSP430 ref design and my code, both are ok.
I tried with open-loop duty control, current control with speed control, current control alone, and speed control alone.
Any comments would be grateful.
Regards,
kaarthi
