CCS/TMS320F28379D: Difference Between COFF and EAPI format

Hi,

All the object files and libraries in a project must use the same application binary interface (ABI).  COFF ABI is the older one, and EABI is the newer one.

You will have to use the "driverlib_coff".lib in your project if you are building the output as "COFF"

 Where can I find the file "driverlib_coff".lib". I am using c2000ware ..

You can find the driverlib in COFF format in the following directory.

C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_01_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\driverlib\ccs\Debug

Alternatively , you can build the driverlib CCS project in COFF by selecting the output as "Legacy COFF"

 selected the output as "Legacy COFF" getting same warning ...

Then added driverlib_coff into project again getting same warning ..

 tried with three lib files getting same warning..

Hi Rani,

There should be multiple build configurations for the driverlib project. Can you try building with "Debug" configuration?

Alternatively , you can remove the compiler options "--abi=eabi" and then build the project.

This should build the project in COFF format.
