CCS/TMS320F28379D: DAC issue

Hi,

Thank you for your valuable time.

I am using the 28379D launchpad. As per the data-sheet the ADCINA0 and ADCINA1 pins are available for connection, which I am using for DAC A, B; but is there any way to use DAC-C. As the pin for ADCINB1 isn't available on the board.

Hi D MISHRA,

If a pin is not available on a header, it can't be used. DACC is not available on the Launchpad.

Thanks for your valuable input. It would be a great help if you could refer me to any experimental kit, where I can access 4 DACs.

We do not have any device that has 4 internal DACs, the maximum is 3. However some of our evaluation boards use the PWMs to simulate a PWMDAC and have 4 of these PWMDACs in addition to the traditional DACs.

These 4 PWMDACs are on the launchpad you are using. Please refer to the user guide.
