Our CiA402 example is just Beckhoff's code, so it will support adding axis and other items they detail.

Check our this wiki, it isn't specific to C2000, but the same procedure is used to setup a sync task that is needed to enable DC.

Here are my notes that I have for enabling DC on our non-CiA402 EtherCAT examples:

• Sync requires a task

• • Expand System

• • Create Task under Tasks (set type to "TwinCAT Task With Image")

• • Under Inputs, add new item

• • • Name it such as "B1.SW1" for Box 1 Switch 1
    • Set Type as that configured on the box/node
    • Right click and link to the Input for that box

• • Under Outputs

• • • Repeat input type order of operations

• • You can now write to the task Output and see in the Task input

• Click on each box, go to the DC tab and change operation mode to "Dc-Synchron"

• • This enabled sync

• • Go to advanced settings

• • • Here the SYNC 0 and 1 can be enabled
    • Additional adjustments can be made as well

• • • Can also mark this node as reference clock (when we did lab, it was just the first node in the sequence)

• Click Activate Configuration

Thanks for your detailed summary.

I have customer test it. But they meet errors.

they can not go into 'safe op'.

I have checked the Package Symbolization on the device.

it is 

first line: XF28388DZWTS

second line:$7 - 92A9GYW.

does it silicon version A which can support DC mode as the errata described?

So if we sample a new controlcard, does it support DC mode? since Customer will have difficulty to  change the BGA package.
