TMS320F280025: Which pin can be used for tristate?

Dear Team,

My customer is using F280025CPMSR (64Pin). Its control card has a interface called SMARTON which is a tri-state pin. It is set according to the SMARTON status. Except IDLE, its state should always be polled for further actions.

Which pin I could used in C2K for control card's SMARTON?

Hi Dylan,

You can put the GPIO into high-z by making the GPIO an input and disabling the pull-up or by setting the GPIO in output mode and open-drain mode (using the GPAODR register) while also setting the GPIO level to 0. Either way, you will have to re-configure the GPIO using the GPIO control registers in order to make some of the state transitions.
