TMS320F28388S: Abs2eQEP

Part Number: TMS320F28388S

Referring to the roadmap 8Dec2020 of C2000 CLB implementation.
I'm trying to collect peripherals / GPIO requirements to fit in one logical "instance" (  set of requirements to get all feedback types + PTO-abs2QEP working ) of this set the possibility to implement Biss-C /T-Format/ Endat 2.2/ PTO-abs2QEP ( if possible also requirements about EnDAT 3.0 ,Hyperface Master etc not yet evaluated).

Actually, I have instanced a full SPI + 1 EPWM + 3 GPIO, do I have to provide other resources( more GPIO / peripherals )?

I try to list requirements about your alpha/beta implementations( Please correct me if I'm wrong):

PTO-abs2QEP requirements = 3x GPIO

Endat 2.2 = 1x SPI  1x ePWM 3x GPIO

Tformat  = 1x SPI 1x ePWM 2xGPIO

Biss-C  = 1x SPI 1x ePWM 3xGPIO

Hyperface DSL Master =

EnDAT 3.0 =

Thanks

    I haven't looked at this from the perspective of a superset of resources that would cover all of the interfaces.  For my understanding, is your goal to have all of the interfaces available the same time or one encoder interface + PTO at one time?

    From the perspective of resources - You can go through and double check the initialization for each to be certain of what is being used.  One note - for the ePWM was used as a convenience because the pin has an enable/disable signal that was leveraged by the solution.  Nothing else from the ePWM module is used so theoretically it can be moved to another pin.
