hello,

I drive motors with CCS, and i want to use the flash mode, in order to make this practice without a computer. I have add some GPIO to control the rotating way and the speed. The initial is07 program doesn't work in flash mode because as soon as I unplug the current source and replug it, it doesn't work anymore. i retried without unplug the JTAG connexion, and the "moduleOverCurrent" became "1" as soon as I unplug the current. It's not suprising but maybe we could change it.

I have think about a GPIO which can control the variable "motorVars.flagRunIdentAndOnLine" but I failed. The GPIO is well wire, I can see it when i press the button, the concerned line (GPIO 0's line ) takes value "1" but the"motorVars.flagRunIdentAndOnLine" don't evolve at all.

Here was my code lines for a simple test (to see if i can influence a variable with a GPIO as simply as I guessed) :

GPIO_setPadConfig(0,GPIO_PIN_TYPE_STD);

GPIO_setDirectionMode(0,GPIO_DIR_MODE_IN);

if(GPIO_readPin(0)== true)

Please refer to the TMS320F28004x Microcontrollers Datasheet or Technical Reference Manual. Set the boot mode pins (GPIO24 and GPIO32) by pulling up these two pins to high.

You might take a look at the documentation below if you are using the launchxl-f280049c kit.

hello,

Thank you for these docs. I think the Flash mode works but the problem is that when i unplug the current, the variable "ModuleOverCurrent" becomes high and it force "motorVars.flagRunIdentAndOnLine" to become 0. so when i replug it's obvious that my motor couldn't start anymore.

So the solution, i think, is to put off the "motorVars.flagRunIdentAndOnLine" before unplug the current and when I replug, put it to "1". when I try it with the USB connexion is on, i can cur the current of and make my test going well. i Just need to put "motorVars.flagRunIdentAndOnLine" high.

I already tried to control it like the speed or acceleration but it doesn't work so please help me to change this variable through a GPIO button. i know how to wire it, the button is ready, but I don't know how to call this variable.

Add a long wait time before the following code to ensure the board power-up well.
