TMS320F280049C: Driverlib support for UID_UNIQUE (UniqueID) register

Part Number: TMS320F280049C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Is there any support in driverlib to support reading a 280049C processor's unique ID?  The TMS320F28004x Piccolo Microcontrollers Technical Reference Manual SPRUI33B lists information about this unique identification number preprogrammed in each 280049 processor in section "3.14.23.7 UID_UNIQUE Register".  I have not found a driverlib getter (preferred) for this value, nor have I found information in this forum for this value.

I did a full text search in my CCS project environment for the register names (UID_UNIQUE, UniqueID) listed in the Technical Reference Manual, but haven't found even a partial mention in any of the source files.  I am using C2000ware 3.02.00.00 version.

If it has not been implemented in driverlib, how else may I obtain this value in a C++ environment?

Can someone recommend this addition to driverlib support?  This, as well as the 192-bit pseudo random number referred to in "3.14.23 UID_REGS Registers" both appear to be very useful values that should be obtainable via the sysctrl or cpu files in driverlib.

Thanks,

Don Lucas
